Dinner outing: an afternoon by the pool and dinner on the hill

Not everyone can take a whole day off. The dinner outing starts in the afternoon and finishes at 10 pm, which makes it a good fit for office teams, birthdays and family celebrations.

The plan

• After 2:00 pm: arrive, welcome drink.
• Afternoon: the pools, courts, fun park and nature trail.
• 4:30 to 5:00 pm: ginger plain tea and a snack.
• 7:30 to 9:30 pm: buffet dinner.
• 10:00 pm: departure.

What is on the dinner buffet

The dinner starts with cream of vegetable soup, bread rolls and four salads. The highlight is the action station, where kottu or Mongolian rice is cooked to order alongside a hopper corner.

Mains include fried rice, biryani or Thai rice, steamed rice, noodles or pasta, chicken, fish, dhal curry and roasted potatoes, with fried chillies, papadam, chilli paste, mango chutney and peanut noodles on the side. Dessert is cut fruit, ice cream and watalappan.

• Pets are not allowed on the premises, and outside food is not allowed for package guests.
• Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the pool area.
• A changing room is provided for groups of 25 or more.
